A Place to Begin Again
Hope Harbor Women's Wellness was created after seeing the growing challenges faced by women experiencing unemployment, financial hardship, rising living costs and abusive circumstances.
For many women, these challenges can become overwhelming.
Some women are not ready to disclose what they are experiencing to family or friends. Some may fear judgment. Some may not know where to turn. Some may not even know what kind of help they need.
Hope Harbor was created to provide a compassionate place to begin.
We help women identify their needs and connect with appropriate resources that may help them move toward greater safety, stability, independence and peace.
Why Hope Harbor Exists
Because Sometimes You Just Need Someone to Help You Find the Way.
A woman experiencing difficult circumstances may encounter many different agencies and organizations.
One organization may help with housing. Another may provide employment assistance. Another may provide legal services. Another may offer financial assistance. Another may provide faith-based or community support.
Finding the right resource can be confusing—especially during a crisis.
Hope Harbor's role is to help make that journey easier to navigate.

Hope Harbor Women's Wellness currently focuses on women living in Will County, Kane County and DuPage County.
As Hope Harbor develops additional partnerships and resources, our goal is to expand throughout Illinois and eventually nationally. Our mission is larger than a geographic boundary. Our long-term vision is to help create a network where women can find the information, connections and opportunities they need to move forward.

Hope Harbor believes that women should be recognized not only for the challenges they have faced, but for their courage, resilience and ability to rebuild. In the future, and only with appropriate permission and privacy protections, Hope Harbor may share anonymous stories of women who have found pathways toward greater stability and independence.
Her circumstances are not her identity. Her past does not have to determine her future.
